I listen to a lot of music with sexual themes (What a shock *sarcasm*) and there are about 2 or 3 songs that I can name off of the top of my head that mention Genghis Khan. This got me thinking, besides a dictator who the fuck was he? And what about him relates to sex?
Who was Genghis Khan?
Genghis Khan was a violent and effective mongol military leader. He was born with the name Temujin, and was given the title of Genghis Khan (universal leader) in 1206 when he unified the Mongol tribes under one leader, himself. Genghis Khan knew that there was power in unity and with this new large empire, he went to attack/invade China, Persia, Afghanistan and Russia. Along the way he would often recruit people from other tribes, or just those who had shown bravery, continuing the growth of his empire.
What About Him Relates to Sex?
So what about this ruthless military leader relates to sex? Well, he had a lot of it, and when I say a lot of it I’m not exaggerating. Genghis Khan was known for his sexual prowess. Along these long excursions he would take wives and women from each place he conquered. He had around 6 known wives and 500 concubines (women he had sex with outside of marriage) that we know of. It had been rumored that he would even sleep with multiple women a night resulting in many children. It has been said that he had so many children that it’s possible that 1 in every 200 people might be a descendant of Genghis Khan.
After I finished researching and writing this article, I realized comparing someone to Genghis Khan is just a historical way of saying “I want you to fuck me well and fuck me alot.” and honestly I’m all here for it.
